Contemporary Music Centre-Ireland works are now the database, and new ways to search

The publisher Centermporary Music Centre Ireland works are now listed in the database. Contemporary Music Centre publishes the works of Irish composers. Historically, the arts were not as well funded in Ireland, so there are only a few works in the database for opera and ballet. The earliest work listed for an Irish composer is 1955’s ballet Le roi de l’ille by James Wilson.

I added a new way to search works in the database. Now that the database contains multiple genres of music, I added a “Category” search field. In this field, you can search the terms “Ballet” or “Opera” if you only want to find that genre. In this field, most works are categorized by opera, chamber opera, operetta, or ballet.
